In December 2004, Mr. Smith retired from service with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department where he had been assigned various plainclothes and undercover detective missions in some of the nation’s most dangerous neighborhoods. During the course of his career, he received scores of commendations and awards, including Firestone Station Deputy of the Year and the medal of Distinguished Service.

Mr. Smith’s transition to the private investigations industry has been rather successful.
